New Orleans Saints' head coach Sean Payton may not return to the big easy after his one year suspension is over.
The NFL voided Payton's contract extension with the Saints signed in September of last year.
The Super Bowl winning coach could become a free agent at the end of this year.
If this were to be the case, he would become the most sought after coach this off-season.
Speculation about him returning to Dallas, where he worked as an assistant coach from 2003 to 2005, has already begun to surface.
Though some believe, like with suspended players, Payton's contract could be pushed back a year and remain valid until the end of 2013.
The state of Payton's contract, once he's reinstated in the league, will be ultimately decided by commissioner Roger Goodell.
